Windows
- Open Disk Management; assign a drive letter if missing.
- Try another USB port/cable.
- Test on another computer to rule out the drive.
macOS
- Open Disk Utility; click the drive and Mount.
- Change Finder preferences to show external disks on Desktop/Sidebar.
